Welcome in the new season
Welcome in the winter of 2011 and a big welcome in a new and interesting season in the property market! The market is turning – like an octopus on roller
blades, with plenty of movement in every direction.
In the first 6 weeks of this year we had already taken out more buyers than in the whole of 2010 but these are not the same buyers of the good old bad days before the recession. They’re clever and patient, and some of the January harvest are still with us, looking for that diamond. And that is exactly what we’re experiencing a critical crisis of, good properties at market related prices. It would appear that sellers are waiting for a sign while the harvest has long since been standing on the fields in golden glory!
If you have been considering selling, you’re welcome to contact us for an evaluation. We might very well already have a couple of suitable buyers for your property, ripe to make an offer, with their homework done and dusted. No, they’re not necessarily looking for a bargain, everyone knows that’s a thing of the past, only value for money and a home to be proud of – like yours!
If your house is already in the market but the right buyer hasn’t been found yet, or if you know of another property that might be in the market, do contact us as well. We have lots of buyers!
Does that mean you’re going to draw a short straw if you want to buy? Not at all, you can be the first to be introduced to all the fresh, new stock we are going to get into the market now!
The banks are granting bonds again – for the moment… Even 100% in some cases, and since the ways of financial institutions are unfathomable to mere mortals, it would seem prudent to jump at the window of opportunity. For those interested, we have a consultant that can qualify you (our your buyers) in advance, free of charge, so that all parties involved have an idea where they stand.
The other good news is that the feared consumer protection act need not keep sellers out of the market. The most important change is that the “voetstoots” clause needs to be replaced with a list of defects, which in fact we’ve always included. If you want to feel really safe we can arrange for an inspection as well. Our professional maintenance manager is also available to quote for any work on the properties that we have in the market.
